You work hard…
You carry a lot. Work, relationships, responsibilities, and the everyday tasks of keeping life moving all ask for your attention.
From the outside, your life may look fine. But inside, something feels unsettled.
You may be emotionally tired, questioning what matters now, or trying to make sense of a change you can’t ignore.
Maybe you’ve been through trauma, a spiritual experience, or a life transition that has left you feeling different than before.
With so much to manage, the thought of driving to one more appointment and opening up to someone new can feel exhausting.
It would be good for you to talk to someone.
Online counseling gives you space to get support without having to leave home or rearrange your whole day.
And while it may feel awkward at first to talk with someone new, that part usually passes quickly.
What begins as a conversation can become a grounded place to sort through what you’re carrying, understand what’s changing, and decide what comes next.
My approach is thoughtful, practical, and respectful of your inner life. Together, we focus on what matters most to you.
You’ll be heard, seen, and accepted…
… while also being gently challenged to care for yourself more honestly and live in a way that feels more sustainable.
We won’t stay stuck in pain for pain’s sake. Instead, we’ll work to understand what your struggles are showing you, build on your strengths, and help you move forward with more clarity.
The goal is not to become someone else. It’s to feel more like yourself again.

The Vision Behind Alive Explorations
Alive Explorations grew from a desire to help people reconnect with themselves, clarify what matters most, and make meaningful changes that support a more honest and fulfilling life.
My own path has included stepping away from a more traditional counseling career and creating a lifestyle that reflects my values more closely.
That experience deepened my belief that change is possible, but it does not have to be reckless or dramatic to be real.
My mission is to support helpers, healers, leaders, creatives, and purpose-driven professionals who give so much to others and need a place where their own well-being and inner life are taken seriously.
A Collaborative Wellness Center
Alive Explorations is growing into a collaborative online wellness center where people can find the kind of support that fits their needs.
That may mean therapy for trauma, emotional overwhelm, or spiritual integration. It may also mean coaching or consulting for intentional change outside the therapy relationship.
Different practitioners, different specialties, and a shared commitment to thoughtful, ethical, whole-person care.
If you’re a healer or wellness practitioner who shares this vision, I’d love to connect.
If you want my support and you’re wondering when to get started, the answer is now.
The consultation is free, and there are no strings attached.
We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what kind of support you’re looking for, and whether I’m the right fit.
If I’m not, I’ll do my best to point you toward other resources, so you leave with more clarity than you started with.
About Andrea Shipley
I’ve always been a sensitive person who asks questions, looks beneath the surface, and imagines other ways of living.
I’m less of a rebel and more of a thoughtful questioner. I ask “what if?” and “why not?” and then take the time to figure out what would actually feel true and workable.
That way of moving through life has shaped both my personal path and the way I support others.
Over time, I’ve built a life that reflects my values more honestly.
Today, I live, work, and travel in a school bus that I spent a year converting into a tiny home and mobile office.
For me, that choice was not about being impulsive or dramatic. It was about listening more closely to what mattered, honoring the life I wanted to live, and trusting that meaningful change can be both grounded and brave.
Before this chapter, I had a healthcare agency job and a house. I chose not to wait until retirement to begin living in a way that felt more aligned.
And no, I won’t encourage you to make bold changes just because I did.
My role is to help you listen more honestly to yourself, make sense of what’s changing, and move toward choices that fit your life with greater clarity and care.
I care deeply about helping people heal, grow, and build lives that feel more honest, sustainable, and their own.
As someone who has made meaningful changes in my own life while maintaining a strong professional foundation, I understand both the emotional depth and the practical realities of authentic change.
