Remote Therapist in Virginia

This opportunity is for licensed clinicians who want to do meaningful work in a supportive environment, while keeping autonomy over their schedule.

What makes Alive Explorations different

Compensation (range)
Compensation varies by session length (for example, 45-minute vs. 60-minute sessions), payer mix, and role expectations.
Typical range: $50 to $65 per session.
We will walk through the details transparently during the conversation so you can feel clear about what you are saying yes to.

What you maintain

Requirements (high level)
- Licensed and eligible to practice in Virginia (telehealth)
- Trained in telehealth and comfortable providing sessions online
- This is a 1099 independent contractor role (not employment)
- You maintain your own professional liability insurance and operate through your own business (sole proprietor or entity)
- Reliable internet and timely documentation (within 48 hours)
- Alignment with holistic, client-centered values
- We are typically looking for clinicians who can build toward at least 8 sessions per month (with a 3-month ramp-up period)
Also welcoming: Holistic wellness practitioners (non-clinical)
A platform participation model (you keep your business)
If you are a holistic practitioner (for example, yoga therapy, meditation, breathwork, somatic education, coaching, and related modalities, etc.) and you offer services online, we may be able to collaborate.
This is not employment and not a “work for Alive” arrangement.
It is a marketing and platform partnership where:
- You run your own business
- You set your own rates, packages, and schedule
- You handle your own billing and client relationships
- You maintain appropriate liability insurance for your work
- Alive Explorations supports marketing visibility, connection, and client acquisition
If it is a fit, we will discuss a simple participation structure that feels fair and sustainable for both sides.
